This camp really lived up to its theme, ‘Culture Explosion’.  The aim of the camp was to create a Kingdom Culture through: worship, discipleship and outreach, relationships, serving and humility, authority and obedience. I think this was initiated at this camp.

Jean-Claude said, ‘Well I would like to first begin with that the camp was, in my opinion, a great success! I think we as leaders who went to learn got more than what we bargained for! God was there and it was inspiring to see the youth that I know dance and jump and go crazy for God like I have not seen yet!

I think it was a very good experience for our youth to see other young people go mad for God. I trust and hope that the culture of worship they experienced has rubbed off and that the youth that went on the camp will be those who set the bar for the other in worshiping!’

Bonita said, ‘Wow what an awesome camp! God really opened up a few things to me on this camp and also taught me a lot about myself.

God really ignited the passion inside me again to be a leader for the youth. I also realized how great the need is for youth to see a ‘good’ leader. How easily youth can become lost without that guidance.

Kheti said, ‘Muffin Camp was the most memorable camp I have ever gone to. While i was there, i experienced a stronger connection with God, and it felt great. The praise and worship there was also super.!

Besides praise and worship, there were a lot of activities that we did in groups, which included “the hunt for salvation”, that was my favourite…

At the end of the day, i didn’t want the camp to end. We all bonded so well together, it felt like we are a true family, but i know in God’s eyes we are family=)…

Praise God for the memorable experience i had… It was truly worth my weekend and looking forward to such a camp again=)’

Henko said, ‘What an adventure? From waking up to Shawn’s voice accompanied by great music over a booming a sound system (the second thing best to breakfast in bed) right through to the games and activities there were never a dull moment.

But it all boiled down to one thing…EVENING SEVICE and WORSHIP!!!Yes that’s where God really came in and touched all of us as we worshiped Him with one voice in spirit and in truth.

And last but not least, who on earth expected…Free Coke!?
It was amazing, a mere two days in God’s presence, better than two thousand elsewhere.

Amen!!!’
